Adventures in Missions
Sponsorship Program Overview

Even though Mexico is on our border, it is less evangelized than many other countries. Only 6% of the population are evangelical Christians. Through AIM’s ministry a Mexican Christian can receive the training and experience needed to plant a new church in unreached parts of Mexico.

AIM’s Mission Training Institute
In 1998, AIM graduated its first 34 Mexican students from the Institute. We have since graduated an average of 25 students a year. The program covers three years of training. The first year consists of intense academic study on campus mixed with ministry opportunities. The second year students intern in a local church where they are mentored by a pastor. During the internship, the students are able to participate in valuable ministry while adding to their knowledge and experience. Then, for the third year, the Institute students go out to plant a new church in unreached regions of Mexico.

While they are students at the Mission Training Institute (MTI), AIM trains them to go with teams on short-term mission outreaches. The Institute students are responsible in part for follow up. These MTI students help ensure that those who come to Christ are encouraged to follow Him by becoming involved in the local church. The Institute students work closely with local pastors to assist in guiding a long-term discipleship process. Once they graduate, these same students will go on to plant new ministries as national missionaries to unreached areas.

The cost at the Mission Training Institute for a first year student is approximately $2,000.00 - far less than sending a missionary from this country to minister in another country.

For as little as $30.00 a month, an adult in a Sunday School class can help support a Mexican national missionary. A small group can fully fund a student’s education for a year by combining their contributions.

$100.00 a month: A family can help a national get the necessary training to pastor his own countrymen.

$167.00 a month: A church can participate in the Great Commission by fully supporting a national missionary.

Your support can educate, train, feed, house and send out into the mission field a
National Missionary Student

It takes so little to support a Mexican national missionary student at AIM’s
Mission Training Institute.

When only partial support is given, your monthly contribution can be combined with other
supporters to aid in the complete financial provision for a student.

In order to “mobilize and equip the church for missions” both in the U.S. and abroad, AIM is depending on God to bring the hundreds of people to become Partners in Ministry with us. Please give prayerful consideration to this opportunity. If you feel led to be involved with AIM in this way, please email Deryck Livingston or call 1-800-881-2461 (In GA call 770-983-1060)
