  3. Where do we meet AIM staff if we are driving?
  4. Can our transportation be a chartered bus?
  5. What do we do if our vehicle breaks down on the way to the project? Who do we call? What is the procedure?
  6. How do I register for AIM transportation in Matamoros or Reynosa?
  7. If we drive to Mexico and use our own or the church's vehicles do we have to have some sort of special insurance?

1. Do you recommend a particular travel agent?
Please call and speak to your AIM Church Mobilization Representative (CMR) for this information.

3. Do I need a passport or other ID?
All countries require passports, therefore, passports are needed for foreign travel. Many of these countries have entrance and exit taxes, which are NOT included in the cost of your project. Please check with your CMR for this information.

4. Where do we meet AIM staff if we are driving?
The meeting arrangements should be discussed with your Project Leader, prior to departure.

5. Can our transportation be a chartered bus?
Yes, you can drive a chartered bus to your location. HOWEVER, during the project week you will need enough vans or cars to take each member of your ministry teams to their various sites throughout the day. Buses are NOT recommended, unless you are going to Matamoros or Reynosa, Mexico. If you do not desire to drive in Mexico, you may sign up for AIM transportation, which is an additional cost of $60 - $75 per person per week depending on location

6. What do we do if our vehicle breaks down on the way to the project? Who do we call? What is the procedure?
If you break down, PLEASE call the main office and let our staff know so we can get word to your Project Leader.

7. How do I register for AIM transportation?
You may apply for it on your Group Registration Form. The cost is $60 - $75 per person, per week, depending on location.

8) If we drive to Mexico and use our own or the church's vehicles, do we have to have some sort of special insurance?
Mexico insurance is strongly recommended but not required. Sometimes your U.S. insurance can or will cover you within 15 miles of the border, it is worth checking into.
