VBS, Construction, & the Daily Schedule

  1. Which days of VBS do I have?
  2. Can I use my own VBS material?
  3. What kind of construction will we do?
  4. Do you have a copy of the construction plans?
  5. What tools or equipment should we bring?
  6. Who is my project leader and how do I get in touch with him or her?
  7. What does the daily schedule look like?

1. Which VBS lessons will we do?
Your Project Leader will assign your team to specific lessons and days.

2. Can I use my own VBS material?
We ask that you use our curriculum. Your group may be sharing VBS responsibilities with other groups. It will be up to you and your group as to how you present the Bible lesson and any crafts you choose to do. Sometimes we work in the same areas back to back and we try to make sure the people in the areas do not receive the same lesson. Using our curriculum helps regulate that.

3. What kind of construction will we do??
You will need to check with your Project Leader to see specifically what your team will be working on.

4. Do you have a copy of the construction plans?
Ask your project leader about the nature of construction on your project. If it is an AIM house in Mexico, then ask for a copy of the plans. If it is repair work on homes, there will not be any construction plans, but we will have a staff person/construction coordinator who will go from work site to work site to guide your group.

5. What tools or equipment should we bring?
Your Project Leader will have that information.

6.) Who is my Project Leader, and how do I get in touch with him or her?
Project Leaders are assigned in the spring. Your project leader should be in touch with you after receiving information regarding your group from the AIM office.
