“I saw Jesus everywhere I looked in India. If you've ever wondered what Jesus looked like I found out in the faces of smiling orphans and crying lepers. I will never forget what he looked like, and what's crazy is I think some people will remember me when they think of Jesus as well.”
- Jimmy McCarty, India Real Life Mission Team, Summer 2005

“The nine weeks I spent in Kenya was absolutely the most amazing summer of my life. I experienced God's power, grace, and love as I had never seen it before. He broke my heart for the lost and filled me with an indescribable passion to know Him more and make Him known.”
- Caroline Crawford, Kenya Real Life Mission Team, Summer 2005

Program Overview
  • The primary goal of Real Life Missions is to attain a "real" and "practical" ministry.
  • You’ll cultivate a passion for seeking and serving God in "real life."
  • We send teams of adventurers for two or three months to New Zealand, Afghanistan, etc.
  • For single adults 18-22 who have been committed, dedicated Christians for at least two years.
  • Previous ministry experience is preferred.

We immerse Real Life Mission Teams (RLMT) of eight to fifteen Adventurers into new cultures. No matter where you spend the nine or twelve weeks of your mission experience, it will be an amazing voyage.

God wants to touch your heart and show you His love for the world. Join a Real Life Missions team and return home as a new, living testimony.  God is still mightily active in the world today and is still using ordinary people (like us) to accomplish the extraordinary.

Ministry – Varies depending upon the location and can include door-to-door evangelism, street evangelism, sports evangelism, mime, prison and nursing home ministry, Christian coffee shop ministry, church planting, VBS, orphanage visitation, leading Bible studies, community outreach, and discipling new and young believers in their walk with Jesus Christ.
